Gemacos! Photo Book Sale & Cheki Session vol.12 Swimsuit SP at AKIHABARA Gamers

On Friday, July 31, 2026, AKIHABARA Gamers Main Store on the 6th floor event space in Akihabara will host “Gemacos! Photo Book Sale & Cheki Session vol.12 Blow Away the Heat! 'Swimsuit Girls Gathering SP'”. This highly anticipated event offers fans the chance to purchase photo books from popular cosplayers and participate in cheki (instant photo) sessions. Notably, this edition is themed “Swimsuit Girls Gathering SP,” with performers appearing in swimsuits during the second photo session, making it an unmissable event.

The event will feature five popular cosplayers: Yanyan, Miyu Yano, ayame, Minami Umino, and Momoa Momoto. Joy Max will serve as the MC, adding to the excitement. Admission to the venue is free, allowing anyone to enjoy the atmosphere; however, participation in the photo book sales or cheki sessions requires a separate purchase of photo books or cheki tickets. Photo books come with Gamers-exclusive bonus bromides, and cheki tickets are sold for 1,500 yen (tax included) each.

With a cheki ticket, attendees can take a solo shot or a two-shot with a cosplayer using an instant camera or their own smartphone/camera (video recording is not permitted). Each session is approximately 20 seconds. Additionally, there will be a “Lineup Photo Session” where all five cosplayers will appear on stage for a one-minute group photo opportunity. Attendees can use their smartphones or cameras for this session, but tripods are not allowed, and only one strobe stand is permitted.

Several rules apply to participation. Touching the cast, their costumes, or having them hold, wear, remove, or put on headwear is strictly prohibited. Bringing copyrighted props or personal items for the cast to hold during photos is also generally forbidden, so it is recommended to check the official website for detailed regulations beforehand.
