Namjatown 30th Anniversary 'Matsuri' Event in July

Namjatown, an indoor theme park located at Sunshine City World Import Mart Building 2F, 3-1-3 Higashiikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo, will host a 'Matsuri' (Festival) event to celebrate its 30th anniversary from Monday, July 6, to Friday, July 31, 2026. This event aims to maximize the festive atmosphere with visitors, whom Namjatown refers to as 'Festerians' (those who live for festivals).

Kick-off with the 30th Anniversary Ceremony

The event will commence on Monday, July 6, with a 30th-anniversary ceremony held at the Sunshine City Fountain Plaza (Alpa B1). The second part of the stage event will feature Namjatown's characters, Najavu, Najami, and Mojavu. They will perform dances at the 'Namjatown 30th Anniversary Stage Kodomo Matsuri' (around 3:30 PM) and energize the venue with visitors at the 'Namjatown 30th Anniversary Stage Otona Matsuri' (around 5:00 PM). Photography and video recording are permitted, but attendees are asked to be considerate of other guests.

Enjoy Namjatown with the 'Omatsuri Rally!'

From Tuesday, July 7, to Friday, July 31, the 'Omatsuri Rally!' will take place within the park. By collecting stamps on a stamp card, visitors can embark on the 'Professional Festerian' route to deeply experience Namjatown's attractions or the 'Master Festerian' route, which offers rewards for participating in weekend festival events. Stamps can be earned by playing attractions, joining character greetings, purchasing eligible food and merchandise, and playing rock-paper-scissors with characters in the park. Collecting seven stamps will earn participants a 30th-anniversary novelty item. Participation in the rally is free, but a separate Namjatown admission fee is required.

Weekend Special Festival Events and Limited Merchandise

During weekends throughout the event period, three special festival events will be held. These will include character greetings, limited-edition square photos commemorating the 'Najamoja Birthday,' attractions with special themes, and the sale of 30th-anniversary commemorative goods and character birthday merchandise.
