An Ethical SDGs Workshop, "Oasis 21 Sunday Atelier: Let's Play Together, Kids and Adults! Hands-on, Heartfelt Ethical SDGs Workshop 'Fair Trade x Upcycling x Local Traditional Industries'", will be held at Oasis 21 in Higashi-ku, Nagoya on Sunday, August 9, 2026. This event aims to deepen understanding of ethical consumption and SDGs through hands-on activities, with the theme "Kind to the World, Fun for the Region, Beautiful for the Future." The workshop is held every second Sunday of the month in the sub-space located at the northeast corner of the Galaxy Plaza (B1F) in Oasis 21.

Various organizations and individuals will offer workshops. Examples include:

Some-Nui Kobo Mizuiro: Creating small pouches using Arimatsu Shibori, a traditional Nagoya dyeing technique. (10-30 mins, ¥500-¥2,000 incl. tax/materials).
ATELIER RELIESA: Making "cat acrylic keychains" using "Dimple Art," developed from recycled car windshields. (30 mins, ¥1,000-¥1,980 incl. tax/materials). Not suitable for those sensitive to alcohol.
Eco Market happy planet: Upcycling workshops using materials like kimonos and unused fabrics to create hair ties, smartphone straps, and seaglass-like keychains. (30 mins, ¥500-¥2,200 incl. tax/materials).
Aichi Commercial High School UNESCO Club: Crafting "string art" inspired by early summer using unused yarn and wood scraps, led by students developing products from marine plastic. (30+ mins, ¥800 incl. tax/materials).
DIY & FAB GIFT: Woodworking activities using local Aichi wood and construction site scraps. "Wooden Boat" for children (30+ mins, ¥1,000 incl. tax/materials), and regular "Labyrinth" (Small ¥500/Large ¥1,000, 40+ mins) and "Monster" (30+ mins, ¥500 incl. tax/materials) creations are available.
