November Exhibition at Tsurumai Park: Crafts, Chrysanthemums, Wood Burning & More

An "Exhibition in November" will be held at Tsurumai Park in Showa Ward, Nagoya, from Sunday, November 1 to Monday, November 30, 2026. Admission is free for all events. The exhibition will primarily take place on the 1st floor of the Nagoya City Greenery Center within the park, featuring a variety of themes.

From November 3rd (Tue, holiday) to November 12th (Thu), the "Indoor Decorations Made from Nuts" exhibition will showcase traditional German decorative items crafted from natural nuts. This exhibit is presented by the Deutsche Volkskunst Nagoya Branch.

On the weekend of November 14th (Sat) to November 15th (Sun), a "Bulb Bazaar" will be held, where the Nagoya City Greenery Center will offer flower seedlings and bulbs at attractive prices. This is a great opportunity for gardening enthusiasts to find seasonal plants.

The "Wood Burning Exhibition" will run from November 21st (Sat) to November 29th (Sun). This art form, also known as "burning wood art," involves using an electric pen to draw pictures and patterns on wood. The exhibition, organized by the Chubu Branch of the Japan Wood Burning Association, will display a wide range of works. Furthermore, on November 21st (Sat), 22nd (Sun), 23rd (Mon, holiday), 28th (Sat), and 29th (Sun), participants can join a wood burning experience workshop, with fees starting from 500 yen. On-site registration is available.

Additionally, from November 21st (Sat) to December 6th (Sun), the "Traditional Classical Chrysanthemum Exhibition" will be presented. Aichi Toei Flower Culture Garden will exhibit various types of classical chrysanthemums, accompanied by panels explaining their characteristics.

It is also possible that other temporary exhibitions may be held during the event period, offering opportunities for new discoveries with each visit.
