Held on the 6th floor of the Main Building and the 1st floor of the South Building, these events will feature a wide range of items including furisode, Shichi-Go-San celebratory attire, autumn kimonos, and summer yukata, accompanied by special plans. Visitors can explore the world of Japanese traditional wear from various perspectives, encompassing the latest trends and traditional craftsmanship.

Furisode Fair to Prepare for Special Occasions

From July 1 (Wednesday) to July 14 (Tuesday), 2026, the "Furisode Fair" will be held on the 6th floor kimono section of the Main Building. This fair will offer new spring furisode designs, obi sashes, zori sandals with bags, and kimono dressing accessories at sale prices. Particularly, regular-priced items will be offered with a 15% discount exclusively for double members. Furthermore, customers who purchase furisode totaling 528,000 yen (including tax) or more during the period will receive a pre-wedding photo shoot ticket for a partner studio.

Early Reservations for Shichi-Go-San Attire & Omiyamairi First Kimono Collection

Also on the 6th floor children's kimono section of the Main Building, the "Shichi-Go-San Celebratory Attire Early Reservation & Omiyamairi First Kimono New Collection" will take place from July 1 (Wednesday) to July 21 (Tuesday). A rich selection of festive items suitable for the autumn Shichi-Go-San season will be available for early reservation. Those who purchase items totaling 330,000 yen (including tax) or more will receive a Shichi-Go-San photo shoot ticket for a partner studio, making it ideal for preparing for important milestones.

Autumn Wear: Tsumugi Kimono and Dyed Obi Sashes

From July 15 (Wednesday) to July 28 (Tuesday), the "Autumn Wear: Tsumugi Kimono and Dyed Obi Sashes" event will be held on the 6th floor kimono section of the Main Building. This event will showcase Tsumugi kimonos, iromuji (solid-color kimonos), tsukesage (patterned kimonos), Nagoya obi, and dyed Nagoya obi, all suitable for autumn tea ceremonies and casual occasions. It offers a great opportunity to find elegant Japanese attire that matches the changing seasons.

Children's Yukata Festival to Enjoy Summer

From July 29 (Wednesday) to August 4 (Tuesday), the "Children's Yukata Festival" will be held on the 6th floor children's kimono section of the Main Building. Various children's yukata will be available, including those with traditional Chusen dyeing, colorful stencil dyeing, and inkjet printing. As a special offer, customers who purchase items totaling 11,000 yen (including tax) or more during the period will receive a toy, allowing children to enjoy summer preparations.

2026 MATSUZAKAYA YUKATA COLLECTION and Special Events

On the 1st floor Organ Square of the South Building, the "2026 MATSUZAKAYA YUKATA COLLECTION" will be held over an extended period from June 17 (Wednesday) to August 3 (Monday). The collection, themed around yukata as fashion and as mode, will propose total coordinates including obi sashes, accessories, and lace tabi socks. Functional items such as Toray Ceoα yukata, known for its water absorption, quick-drying properties, and easy care, will also be available. During this period, experiential events will be held, including a yukata self-hair and obi knotting workshop by a kimono concierge (July 5), a yukata fashion show by Nanzan University x Vantan Design Institute (July 12), and a NEO yukata style workshop by Kobayashi Toyoko Kimono Academy (July 19). Additionally, "Edo no Iki Chikusen" will have a limited-time pop-up store from July 22 (Wednesday) to July 28 (Tuesday).

Creator's Marche Featuring Handcrafted Works

From July 29 (Wednesday) to August 3 (Monday), the "Creator's Marche Featuring Handcrafted Works" will be held in the event space on the 6th floor of the Main Building. Five creators will exhibit and sell their unique works, including glass accessories, bead embroidery, hand-stitched leather goods and accessories, clay flower accessories, and hats and fabric flowers. Visitors can find one-of-a-kind items to complement their Japanese attire or to add color to their daily lives.
