企業立地フェア2026

The "Corporate Location Fair 2026" will be held at Tokyo Big Sight (3-11-1 Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo) from Wednesday, July 8, 2026, to Friday, July 10, 2026. This exhibition aims to support corporate relocation and regional revitalization by helping businesses find solutions for contemporary management challenges such as rising costs, labor shortages, business continuity planning (BCP), and subsidy utilization, with a focus on "regions" as the answer. With 56 municipalities and organizations participating nationwide, it offers a valuable opportunity to accelerate decision-making through direct dialogue.

Finding Clues for Business Problem Solving in Regions

As the environment surrounding corporate location strategies undergoes significant changes, this fair focuses on four major business challenges. Participants can explore solutions through discussions with local government officials from across Japan. Information on industrial land, subsidies, and preferential treatment offered by various regions can be compared and considered in response to specific issues like rising rents and land costs in urban areas, intensifying recruitment competition in the Tokyo metropolitan area, the materialization of risks from over-concentration, and the continuous expansion of national and local government support systems. Information relevant to startups and IT/service industries, such as support for satellite offices and regional co-creation, will also be provided.

Three Experiences Offered at the Fair

To enable participants to efficiently gather the necessary materials for decision-making in a single day, the fair offers three main experiences. Firstly, in the "Learn" sessions, a total of 12 seminars will be held by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Japan Regional Development Center, and other experts, covering the latest trends in location policies. Secondly, the "Compare" opportunity brings together 56 municipalities and organizations from Hokkaido to Okinawa, allowing for cross-sectional comparison of industrial land, subsidy systems, and preferential measures. Thirdly, at the "Consult" corner, specialized staff from the Japan Regional Development Center will offer free, no-reservation individual consultations on industrial land information and location candidate site considerations.

Industry-Specific Utilization Scenarios

Focusing on manufacturing, logistics, and data center industries, specific industry challenges and utilization scenarios for this fair are presented. For manufacturing, it covers selecting sites for second factories and supply chain reorganization; for logistics, it addresses base design and securing drivers; and for data centers, it facilitates narrowing down candidate sites that balance power/cooling water acquisition with BCP. For the IT and startup industries, information useful for opening satellite offices, recruiting regional talent, and finding partners for demonstration experiments will be available.
