Chinami Yamaguchi "The Koln Concert" SACD Release Event at Tower Records Shibuya

An in-store event celebrating the release of pianist Chinami Yamaguchi's SACD "The Koln Concert/Live at Kasumicho Ongakudo" will be held on July 11, 2026, at Tower Records Shibuya's 8F TOWER CLASSICAL.

Yamaguchi is known for her ambitious reinterpretations of Keith Jarrett's seminal "The Koln Concert." Her studio and live albums have achieved remarkable long-term sales at Tower Records Shibuya, and this event commemorates the release of a high-fidelity SACD version. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience her acclaimed performance up close.

Event Details

The event will feature a mini-live performance by Chinami Yamaguchi followed by a signing session. The mini-live performance is free to attend and open to the public. Participation in the signing session requires a "Signing Session Participation Ticket."

Special Offers

Customers who purchase any of the designated products on the event day will receive a postcard with a handwritten autograph. Additionally, purchasers of the new SACD "The Koln Concert/The Koln Concert – Live at Kasumicho Ongakudo (SACD)" will receive a photobook. Signing session tickets will be distributed to customers purchasing eligible items, with one ticket per purchase.

Participation and Reservations

Signing session tickets and特典 (special gifts) will be distributed upon purchase of the event's target products. Products are expected to arrive from June 30, 2026, and will be available for sale and ticket distribution on the 7th floor of Tower Records Shibuya. To participate in the signing session on the event day, please bring your "Signing Session Participation Ticket" and the purchased CD. Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets will not be reissued. Reservations can be made in-store, by phone, or via Tower Records Online (select store pickup).
