Tokyo Solamachi "Food Marche" Summer Festival & Eel Dishes

Tokyo Solamachi's 2nd-floor "Food Marche" will host a special "Food Marche Summer Festival & Eel Day" event, coinciding with the Sumida River Fireworks Festival and "Doyo no Ushi no Hi" (Day of the Ox).

Culinary Delights for the Fireworks Festival

Starting July 3rd, in anticipation of the Sumida River Fireworks Festival on July 25th, various shops will offer an array of perfect accompaniments for the event. This includes a selection of snacks, side dishes, and sweets. On the day of the fireworks festival, the "Food Marche" (delicatessen zone) on the 2nd floor will open early at 9:00 AM, allowing ample time for shopping. Please note that the sweets zone will not be part of the early opening. Shops such as Matsumoto Kiyoshi and NATURAL KITCHEN& on the 1st floor of the West Yard are also included in this special operation.

Eel Dishes for "Doyo no Ushi no Hi"

This year's "Doyo no Ushi no Hi" falls on July 26th (Sunday). The "Food Marche" at Tokyo Solamachi will feature exquisite eel dishes, renowned for their ability to combat summer fatigue and boost immunity. This presents an excellent opportunity to savor expertly prepared eel.

Currently, the "Food Marche" is undergoing some renovation work in preparation for its autumn renewal opening. While some temporary inconvenience may occur, the space is expected to become even more appealing.
