Matsuzakaya Nagoya Celebrates Kids Floor 1st Anniversary with GW Family Events

The Kids Floor on the 5th floor of Matsuzakaya Nagoya is celebrating its 1st anniversary with a series of exciting events for families during Golden Week (GW)! From April 15th (Wed) to May 5th (Tue, holiday), the children's floor will be filled with special commemorative activities.

A highlight event is the "Cinnamoroll Greeting & High-Five Event" on April 29th (Wed, holiday). This is a great opportunity for children to interact with their favorite character, though participation in the high-five event is limited to children under elementary school age who are members of the Daimaru/Matsuzakaya app.

On May 2nd (Sat), "Mama Shindo," a veteran instructor from BorneLund, will hold a xylophone concert, delivering beautiful melodies. On the same day, a "Mini Koinobori (Carp Streamer) Making Workshop" will allow children to experience the joy of crafting.

For Children's Day on May 5th (Tue, holiday), balloon artist "Tama-chan" will offer a greeting and present cute balloon art. Additionally, on May 5th (Tue, holiday) and 6th (Wed, holiday), a "Fluid Art Workshop" will be available for families to enjoy.

Other activities include custom-made children's yukata orders, a watercolor painting class for parents and children led by artist Go Inoue, and a program for aspiring young watchmakers to experience disassembling and assembling clocks. These diverse events promise a fun-filled GW.
